Fishing Charters
Liveaboard the Nekana II in air-conditioned comfort.
Travel through the beautiful remote islands of the Torres Strait to secluded fishing grounds and try your hand at catching mackerel, sail fish and other pelagic. Each day will bring a new location where you can fish the reefs for coral trout, red emperor, nannygai and also cast a lure over sandflats for GT's.
We recommend bringing your own fishing gear, however, this is also available to hire at additional cost.
All meals provided. BYO drinks.

Scenic Island Cruises: A Trip to 'The Tip'

Experience the Straits in the best way possible... on the water! Charter our vessel to take you on a visual trip of a lifetime. See historic landmarks and appreciate the beauty of the seascape in the Torres Strait.
The charter vessel will depart Thursday Island at 6:30 am to catch the morning sun and travel through the inner islands, stopping at historic Possession Island and then through to the northern most tip of Australia where you will once again disembark (weather permitting!). The cruise will then return by circumnavigating Prince of Wales Island (Muralag), and have you disembarking on Thursday Island at 5pm. The route taken will vary at the skippers discretion and will be sure to deliver a memorable experience.

Relax and enjoy this unique part of the world. Unwind on the back deck of Nekana II and enjoy the slow cruise out to the East to capture the setting sun. The skipper will drop anchor and guests can mingle, enjoy good food and take in the panoramic view. (Route will vary depending on weather to ensure our passengers are comfortable).
