With over 30 years maritime experience in the various fisheries in the Torres Strait, the crew is guaranteed to provide you with a memorable venture on board the vessel Nekana II.

The Nekana II was built in 1998 and has been kept in pristine condition by it’s owners. It was purchased by the skipper in 2019 and since then worked primarily in the commercial fishing industry in the Torres Strait.

Malu Ventures is providing the Nekana II as a charter vessel to support businesses within the Torres Strait, and also enable visitors to the region an opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity within Zenadth Kes (Torres Strait).
